Processional sculpture

...to enliven and brighten a carnival procession

Participants will develop large structures that may be carried as part of a procession e.g a carnival. These may be made from a range of materials and include structures such as decorative theme based placards to larger 3-D formations made from willow and tissue paper.

Details:

Numbers of participants: ideally 12-15 but could be larger if adequate space and additional staff support.

Age suitability: age 7+

Space Requirements: A room suitable for arts activities with tables and chairs, a sink, basic equipment eg pencils, scissors, rubbers would be useful although these will also be provided. Aprons /old clothes.

Staffing: A member of staff must be present at all times during the workshop and be responsible for the behaviour of the group.
