Cuban Salsa Dance

Salsa originates from Cuba and is an informal partner dance. Its infectious energy has taken everywhere by storm. This workshop will have everyone moving and grooving!

Two left feet, no problem!

The infectious sounds of Cuban Salsa music will form the background to learning the basic steps that make up salsa dance. Working with step patterns in a line in time with the music as a start to developing partner work, leading and following a series of turns.

The dance of Salsa and Merengue will be explored and guarantee to get everyone moving and grooving! There is an option to combine this with Salsa music introducing the styles and techniques of Salsa music as well as learning percussion rhythms that create the irresistible swing of Salsa.
